From the M3 north, exit junction 8 and take A303 to Andover. After approximately 14 miles take A342 exit and continue through Ludgershall. After passing the castle on your right, turn right onto A346 and then turn right onto A338 to Burbage.

From the M3 south, exit junction 9 and take A34 towards Newbury. After approximately 71/2 miles take A303 exit to Andover. After approximately 8 miles take A342 exit and continue through Ludgershall. After passing the castle on your right, turn right onto A346 and then turn right onto A338 to Burbage.

From the M4 east, exit junction 14 and take A338 to Hungerford and then Burbage.

From the M4 west, exit junction 15 and take A346 to Marlborough and then Burbage.

From Burbage, take the B3087 to Easton Royal. Turn left at the telephone box and continue for 800 yards. Ashtree Cottage is on your left, immediately past and behind Avon Cottage.
